How We Perform Dental Treatment Under Anesthesia

• Maximum safety: when treating under sleep, we follow the strictest international protocols

• An experienced team works together: an anesthesiologist, the dentist, assistants. This teamwork allows quality work in one visit without prolonging time under anesthesia

• We use only certified anesthetic (Sevoran)

• Anesthesiological monitoring follows extended protocols; vital signs are tracked (ECG, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, body temperature, respiratory function)

• We are prepared for rare complications (like malignant hyperthermia), which—though unlikely—can theoretically occur under anesthesia. We always have the antidote (Dantrolene) on hand

• Dental Fantasy is the only children’s dental clinic in Moscow using BIS-monitoring to analyze depth of anesthesia. Child receives exactly needed anesthesia—no more, no less

How to Prepare for Treatment Under Sleep

Preparation is very important — it’s the key to successful treatment. You don’t need to worry about finding doctors or completing tests. The full set of examinations (tests, pediatric checkup) can be done in one day at our pediatric clinic. We will help you arrange travel, order taxi service if needed.

Your personal medical coordinator, who will oversee the entire treatment process and support you at every stage:

• Remote consultation (based on the photos of your child’s oral cavity that you send us)

• Preliminary estimate of financial costs (please note: the final treatment plan and cost can only be determined after an in-person examination and diagnostics)

• In-person appointment with a dentist at our clinic

• Pre-treatment medical examination (if general anesthesia is required) at our pediatric clinic Fantasy

• Consultation with an anesthesiologist

• Day of treatment: the coordinator will be present and ensure communication with the doctors
